2020 started off with a bang, and January ended in a lay off.
I really never thought I would be writing that, but life likes to throw you curve balls at the most random times. When it comes down to it I always look at the positive side of things. The moment I was told that the company I work for was being absorbed and the photo studio I worked at would no longer be needed it was a shock. The first thing my mind did was think “Okay, what next?” but in the best way. When you don’t have control of certain happenings you have to move forward, learn, and grow from it.
I decided to take this time to reflect on what I really want out of life, where I see myself going, and how I’m going to make that happen. I might even travel a little, that seems like a must.
I busted my ass with my jewelry line, made connections with future partnerships, spend a good amount of time with my favorite man Tucker, and really spent time getting creative.
January taught me to never settle and never get comfortable.
