Thrifting really is the cherry on top of my days. Pun intended.
When it comes to a lifestyle, thrifting is the backbone of mine. I don’t really remember the last time I walked into a full price retail store and actually shopped. It almost hurts to spend more than what I know I could find it at the thrift store for. There are certain things I know I can’t (or won’t) thrift, but a good portion of my closet is thrifted. I can say that 75% of my closet was found at a thrift store or vintage shop.
With the way that the world is going, I think it’s safe to say that thrifting and second hand clothing is so damn smart. Fast fashion was a love of mine for a while, I still teeter and look at Zara, but it’s been hard to hit the “Add to Cart” button. Trends come and go, and you might even be able to find some of those reoccurring ones in the thrift store, just a better, vintage one.
I dare you to go out and thrift a little, whether it be for ten minutes or take the time to go through the whole damn store. You might find something you love or even rediscover some of your old favorites. Some of my most treasured pieces I found at a thrift store.
