Layered Glory
February 18, 2015
Winter brought out the turtleneck lover in me. I picked up a few that can transition throughout the years of styling. I’ve realized I started to get more neutral pieces and staples that are timeless. That definitely comes from becoming a grown-up, or at least attempting to. I will always love my random pattern or “you really bought that?” piece, but building a good solid wardrobe is my plan now. I figured I could get some good basics but make my handbags and accessories fun like this Zara bag I picked up for only $15, major score!
Side note, my hair is not my best friend right now. Remember I dyed it brown, well it faded back to the exact same color it was before. So I chopped it again to get closer and closer to my natural color! It’s a process, a long grueling process. I’ll probably find out who A is before my hair is back to a state I love, and now we have a date for that so I’m impatiently waiting. Sunday I went and saw 50 Shades of Grey. I’ve never read the books but the movie really made me interested in the reading them, so I might be making a trip to Barnes & Noble soon! Jamie Dornan is a new favorite of mine. I recently watched The Fall on Netflix and absolutely loved it. If you like drama, crime shows I definitely recommend watching it on your next Netflix binge!
