DIY Jeweled Fishbone Bracelet

November 19, 2014

I recently became a designer on Darby Smart and they sent me some lovely supplies to create some great DIY's. I fell in love with these jewels and created this beautiful jeweled fishbone bracelet. All it takes is a few supplies and a lot of love!

What you need:
-Assortment of rhinestones ℅ Darby Smart {here and here}
-Lobster clasp and jump rings
-Plastic baggie
-E6000 glue
-Skewer for application

1. Cut the fishbone chain to fit the around your wrist comfortably. Remember that the lobster clasp will add some length to the bracelet.

2. Layout your design before hand so you know how to attach the rhinestones to the plastic baggie. Using the E6000 glue and skewer, apply dabs of glue to the back of the rhinestones and attach them on the plastic baggie. The baggie is acting like a clear connector to keep all the rhinestones in place.

3. Once the glue has completely dried, cut off the excess plastic from the back of the rhinestones. Make sure to cut as close to the rhinestones as possible. Apply more glue to the back of the stones and attach to the chain, making sure to center it in the process.

4. Attach the jump rings and lobster clasp to finish the bracelet.

Voila!

Thanks so much for reading and happy diy-ing!
