DIY: Studded Shoulder Pullover

March 3, 2013

I have been meaning to make a studded anything, but every time I had went to the store to get the studs they were always sold out! So I decided to go online and order some just so I know I would have them soon and be able to make whatever I decided to make!

I went shopping recently at Forever 21 and found a ton of studded shoulder pullovers and it hit me that I don’t have to buy any, I could finally make my own the way I wanted to! I purchased a plain pullover from Forever 21 and made this beauty. I went a little simple with the shoulder, but you can experiment and load up on studs!
You Need:
A plain pullover
Some small pyramid studs
Hot glue gun and glue
Measuring tape if needed
How to:
1. Lay your pullover out so the shoulder is flat.
2. Measure out where you want your studs to go. I just freehanded mine, but if you want it to be more precise I would measure and mark with a pen or pencil.
3. Push the stud through.

4. Carefully close the prongs on the stud. It will look like this.
5. Once you have placed all of the studs, turn the pullover right side out and hot glue underneath the stud. This will help keep it in place when washing and wearing.
This is what you should end up with!
Pretty simple and quick to do! I love how it turned out.
Enjoy your studded pullover!

Please let me know what you think in the comments below. If there’s any fashion item you’d love to make your own version of then let me know and I might just be able to show you how…
